A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Randal North earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980 and went on to earn his Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1985. After completing internships in Primary Eye Care Clinics, he opened his own practice alongside Dr. Courtland Watson in the Twin Cities and has been the co-owner since 1988. Since then, he has been a proud member of the Association of Lease-holding LensCrafters Doctors. He specializes in contact lenses and medical optometry, so it is not surprising at all that his practices do not end here in Minnesota He has traveled around the world as a part of international optical missions to locations such as Romania and Panama in order to bring his expertise to those in need.
In his personal life, Dr. North has three children and is a passionate hockey fan, keeping up with both the Minnesota Wild and the Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as the Minnesota Golden Gophers. In addition, he enjoys cycling and golf in the warmer months.
